In N/A applications our Silicon Joiner maintains its shape without contracting. For forced induction applications we have rigorously tested it up to 70 psi and observed minimal expansion.

Manufactured with a 4-ply polyester reinforcement, they are capable of withstanding high boost applications and temperatures of up to 350°F.
When it comes to temperature ratings, be wary of other manufacturers boasting higher limits. Our hoses consistently either meet or exceed these claims when compared to other silicone products with the same reinforcement material. We choose to be conservative in our ratings to prioritize accuracy and reliability.
It’s important to note that the pressure rating of silicone hoses is determined by the number of fabric plies, not the thickness of the wall. The fabric, whether it’s aramid or polyester, provides structural integrity to the hose, while the silicone acts as a carrier. Additionally, the silicone allows for flexibility and creates an airtight seal. Therefore, even if a 3-ply hose appears thicker than its 4-ply counterpart, rest assured that the 4-ply hose will have a higher burst pressure.
